Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Cooke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Garcia gets full guard.
Cooke will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cooke loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cooke being controlled here momentarily.
Garcia looking for a sweep. Not yet Garcia, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garcia looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cooke puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcia moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Cooke is fighting to break Garcia's control of his arms but Garcia is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Garcia is trying to control the position but Cooke postures up.

Garcia pulls Cooke in close to prevent any damage.
Cooke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Garcia trying to keep a closed guard but Cooke is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Cooke throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Cooke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Garcia feints the counter takedown.
Cooke closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Garcia quickly recovers to half guard.
Garcia is concentrating on defense, preventing Cooke from advancing position.
Garcia is trying to get back to full guard.
Garcia looking for submissions off his back.

Garcia is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cooke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cooke's back!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Garcia controlling the positon.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cooke tries to escape but Garcia has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Garcia has his arm under Cooke's chin here. Game over son! Garcia squeezes tightly and Cooke is forced to tap out!
