Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ric Flores Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ric Flores Jr is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores Jr throws a combination. Smith tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Flores Jr.

Smith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smith lands in his opponent's guard.
Smith is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

It looks like Ric Flores Jr has been cut.
Flores Jr keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.
Flores Jr wants to sweep but no luck.
Smith postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Smith is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Flores Jr has momentary wrist control but Smith slips an elbow through the middle.
Flores Jr wants to stand up but Smith is controlling him.
Smith stands up over Flores Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith is pushing down on Flores Jr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Flores Jr is fighting to maintain full guard but Smith has managed to sneak the leg through.
Smith scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Smith winds up and cracks Flores Jr with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Flores Jr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Smith is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Flores Jr is rocked!
Smith lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Flores Jr quite badly. Flores Jr pulls Smith in close trying to recover. Smith postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Flores Jr on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Flores Jr doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
