Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the ring accompanied by Burning Bridges. Cain Sanchez is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cain Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming King to the mat! King manages to get full guard.
King is trying to keep Sanchez in close.
Sanchez trying to control but King is working from the bottom.
King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sanchez trying to control but King is working from the bottom.
Sanchez throwing strikes but missing.
Sanchez looking to pass the guard.
Sanchez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as King works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Sanchez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sanchez showed some decent athleticism there.

King is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sanchez is working away from the top position though.
King is refusing to be controlled, as Sanchez sits in half guard.
Sanchez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control King kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

King is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Sanchez pulls his head out easily.
King is breathing heavily.
Sanchez throwing shots but King is blocking nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sanchez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but King does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sanchez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sanchez is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Sanchez shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
King keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Sanchez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
King won't allow Sanchez to pass to mount.
It looks like Sanchez is going to stand back up.

Sanchez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Sanchez is working for a kimura here but King manages to reverse the position and he's now in Sanchez's guard.

Sanchez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Sanchez wanted to stand there but King had control of the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

King has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sanchez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for King.

Sanchez is trying to get an arm triangle but King is defending well.
Sanchez tries to move to mount but King blocks the move with his legs.

Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense.

King gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Sanchez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

King looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
King wants to control but Sanchez is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sanchez is working for a submission of some sort.
King keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Sanchez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sanchez wants to free his trapped foot but King is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Sanchez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. King didn't expect that.

Sanchez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

King has his foot on Sanchez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sanchez works his way back into a safe position though.

Sanchez wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

Sanchez drops back, looking for a kneebar! King looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. King looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from King!
Sanchez tries to buck King off but King is having none of it.
Cain Sanchez has got the better of the ground game so far.

King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
King prevents Sanchez from escaping the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

King is trying to get an arm triangle but Sanchez is defending well.
King wants to control but Sanchez is keeping him busy.

King looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sanchez manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sanchez is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Sanchez wants to take a breather but King is having none of it.
Sanchez tries to pass the half guard into mount. King knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
King makes his way to full guard. A much better position for King.
Sanchez postures up and lands a big shot to King's brow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cain Sanchez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Danny King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sanchez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Sanchez tries for a kimura but King is defending well.
King is looking for a sweep.
Sanchez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear King down.
Sanchez wants to control but King is keeping him busy.
The referee asks Sanchez politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sanchez prefers to stall for the moment though.
King can't do much from the bottom here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Sanchez lands a nice forearm strike.

Sanchez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Sanchez is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
King is trying to control Sanchez's posture but Sanchez avoids it.
Sanchez scores with a couple of short elbows.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sanchez looks up at the clock and then as King takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sanchez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sanchez connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused King some visible discomfort.
Sanchez tries to move into full mount but can't pass King's legs.
Sanchez misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
King is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sanchez off and has taken his back!

Sanchez wants to control his opponent's hands but King gets his hands free.

King is persistently looking for the submission but Sanchez is defending it well.
Sanchez is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get King off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Sanchez just trying to survive but King is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

King is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Sanchez won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips King off his unconscious opponent!
