A fine choice. Andrew Miller is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Metharom moves into the clinch successfully.

Metharom pulls guard successfully.
Metharom is wriggling around but Miller manages to pass to half guard.
Metharom is looking to control Miller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Metharom avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Metharom is trying to stand back up but Miller is controlling him

Metharom has one foot on Miller's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Metharom lands a big head kick that sends Miller tumbling to the mat! Metharom takes a step backwards and waves Miller back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Andrew Miller has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Metharom slips under a jab from Miller.
Metharom throws a body punch but Miller moves out of range.
Miller feints the counter takedown.

Miller shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Miller showed some decent athleticism there.
Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Miller slips a nice elbow through Metharom's hands, connecting with Metharom's forehead.
Metharom gets back to full guard.

Miller lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Metharom is rocked!
Miller postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Oh Metharom is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Miller loads up on a big left hand. Metharom felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Miller looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Metharom can't hide his disappointment, as Miller celebrates the victory.
