Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Blakens!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blakens tries to score with a low kick but Clarke moves his leg out of the way.

Blakens scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Blakens content to control rather than advance.
Clarke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Clarke looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Blakens drops an elbow to the side of Clarke's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clarke trying to control from the bottom.

Blakens keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Blakens has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Blakens is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Clarke is just riding it out for now. Blakens eventually gives up the hold.
Clarke wants to get back to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Clarke is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Blakens pulls his head out easily.
Clarke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Clarke is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Blakens scores with a couple of nice shots.
Clarke wants to get back to full guard but Blakens has mounted him!
Blakens fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Clarke tries to reverse the position but Blakens maintains control.
Clarke in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.


Clarke is rocked!
Blakens manages to capitalize on a mistake by Clarke to take his back!
Oh Clarke is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clarke is breathing heavily.
Blakens is raining down hard shots and and Clarke has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!
