The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Maeda postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mccray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Maeda is working Mccray over with some ground and pound from side control.
Maeda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mccray is trying to control Maeda's posture but Maeda avoids it.
Maeda connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mccray some visible discomfort.
Mccray takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Maeda cracks Mccray with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Maeda immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Mccray is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Maeda!
