Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Darin Roberson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matas Sulinskas!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sulinskas scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Roberson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Roberson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Roberson is trying to maintain the position but Sulinskas is very close to passing his half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sulinskas takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Sulinskas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Roberson sees it coming and defends easily.

Sulinskas takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sulinskas wants to stand but Roberson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sulinskas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Matas Sulinskas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sulinskas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sulinskas showed some decent athleticism there.

Sulinskas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sulinskas wants to stand and escape but Roberson is having none of it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sulinskas swings wildly with an uppercut but Roberson uses good head movement to avoid it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Roberson blocks a body shot from Sulinskas.
Sulinskas wants a takedown but no success here.
Sulinskas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Roberson walks away with a smile on his face. Sulinskas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sulinskas.
Sulinskas goes for a double leg but Roberson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Roberson continues to drive forward.
