Jung comes into the arena with Jiu Jitsu blaring out of the sound system. Mateo Alejandro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alejandro misses with a double jab

and Jung counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jung advances to half guard.
Jung trying to pass the guard but Alejandro defending well.
Jung moves nicely into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jung looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Alejandro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jung tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alejandro is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jung has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Jung has hold of Alejandro's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Alejandro tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jung cranks the arm and Alejandro screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Alejandro, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
