The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Allen. Those never looked like landing.
Allen lands with a shot to the body.
Allen throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Igor Rottwel has been cut.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Rottwel.
Rottwel is working to tighten his grip on Allen's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Allen has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rottwel is really squeezing tight and eventually Allen passes out! Rottwel breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Igor Rottwel!
A determined Igor Rottwel didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
