Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaqen Hghar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Draven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Draven has chosen Cobra Kai Fight Song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jaqen Hghar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Erik Draven!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draven moves forwards but Hghar connects with a nice, crisp jab.


It looks like Erik Draven has been cut.
Draven tries to move into range but Hghar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Draven darts in and clinches Hghar up against the cage.
Draven tries to score a body lock takedown but Hghar shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hghar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dravens head.
Draven is trying to drag Hghar to the mat but Hghar just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hghar tries to work over Draven's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hghar.
Hghar lands a body shot in the clinch.
Hghar stops a takedown attempt from Draven.
Jaqen Hghar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erik Draven.
Draven is trying to drag Hghar to the mat but Hghar just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A head punch on the inside from Hghar fails to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Draven doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hghar misses with some punches.
Draven drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Draven tries for a takedown but Hghar manages to get underhooks.

Draven works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Draven tries to stand but Hghar is controlling from the bottom.
Draven prevents Hghar from getting back to his feet.
Hghar has momentary wrist control but Draven slips an elbow through the middle.
Hghar wants to get back to his feet but Draven is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Draven controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
It looks like Draven might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Draven throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hghar rushes Draven and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hghar digs a right hand underneath Draven's ribcage. Draven let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hghar tries to throw a body punch but Draven avoids it by throwing Hghar back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Hghar fails to land.
Draven wants a takedown.
Hghar swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hghar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Draven backwards.
Draven has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hghar avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Draven gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Draven looks winded!
Hghar avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Draven must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Draven accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Draven engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Draven trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Draven decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hghar swings for the body but Draven moves out of range.
Draven dodges the punch combination from Hghar.
Hghar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hghar cracks Draven with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hghar scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


Draven is rocked!
Draven closes the distance and clinches up with Hghar, looking for a takedown. Draven pushes Hghar against the cage but Hghar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hghar gets a clinch.
Draven fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A hook to the body from Hghar.
Hghar is pressed up against the cage. Draven has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hghar down to the mat. Hghar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hghar lands a slapping body shot.
Jaqen Hghar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hghar clinches up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Draven can't get the takedown.
A right handed body shot lands from Hghar.
Draven takes a shot to the head.
Hghar lands with a right to the head.
Hghar prevents the takedown attempt.
Hghar lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hghar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nice body punch from Hghar - that landed with a thud.
Hghar lands a shot to the body.
Hghar lands with a right to the head.
Hghar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Draven's elbow.
Hghar scores with a hook to the body.
Hghar lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Draven or not.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hghar.
Hghar pushes Draven back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hghar lands a shoulder strike.
Draven is looking to take this one to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jaqen Hghar dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Erik Draven's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hghar lands a big right hand that drops Draven! The killer instinct kicks in and Hghar finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Hghar!
