Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Allahu Akbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Cedeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Allahu Akbar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eduardo Cedeno!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akbar with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Akbar feints a jab promting Cedeno to slip. Akbar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cedeno slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cedeno throws a right hand that Akbar ducks under and follows up with a left that Akbar also avoids with ease.
Cedeno misses with a series of wild punches.
Cedeno shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Akbar sprawls well. Akbar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cedeno gets slowly back to his feet.
Cedeno moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cedeno throws a right and a left that both miss.
Akbar lands a really nice looking cross but Cedeno seems unphased.
Cedeno tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Akbar is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Akbar works the jab nicely.
Akbar sizes up Cedeno with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Akbar throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cedeno throws a poor cross that misses
and Akbar counters with a straight right hand.
Cedeno looks to throw the jab but Akbar is out of range.
Akbar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cedeno has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cedeno is defended easily by Akbar.
Cedeno swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cedeno's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Akbar connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cedeno scrambles back to his feet.
Akbar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cedeno.
The crowd cheers as Akbar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cedeno doesn't seem phased though.

Cedeno is rocked!
Cedeno shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Akbar pinned against the cage. Akbar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cedeno is still on wobbly legs! Can Akbar finish him?
Allahu Akbar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eduardo Cedeno.

A little feinted left hand from Akbar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Cedeno seems to have recovered his senses.

Cedeno tries to move into range but Akbar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cedeno gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Akbar gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
