Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Veikkko Wainamoinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Winkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

and Wainamoinen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wainamoinen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Winkle at a distance.

Wainamoinen tries to bum rush Winkle with a series of wild strikes but Winkle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wainamoinen slips a jab and a cross from Winkle.
Wainamoinen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Winkle stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Perry Winkle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wainamoinen sends Winkle crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wainamoinen is motioning to the referee to let Winkle up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The cut above Perry Winkle's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Winkle is still on wobbly legs! Can Wainamoinen finish him?
Wainamoinen cracks Winkle with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Winkle tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Wainamoinen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Winkle is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
