Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rayford Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Margeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Margeta has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Rayford Larson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Margeta moves into range and clinches up with Larson.
Margeta looks winded!
Margeta is trying to break free.

Larson jumps guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larson is pulling down on Margeta's head. It's preventing any offense from Margeta, at least for the moment.
Margeta wants to control from the top but Larson keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Larson is controlling Margeta's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The referee is keeping an eye on Larson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Larson works over Margeta with some ground and pound from guard.
Margeta wants to control the position but Larson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Larson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Margeta with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Larson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Larson extends the arm and Margeta is forced to tap!
