Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Isaias Deleon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Bautista!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bautista.
Deleon avoids a punch combination nicely.
A head kick by Bautista misses
and Deleon counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dave Bautista seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bautista closes the distance and clinches.

Bautista breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bautista is defended easily by Deleon.
Deleon throws a quick counter kick to the body but Bautista avoids it.

Deleon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bautista was covering up waiting for the punch and Deleon finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Deleon throws an elbow that misses. Bautista uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Deleon's guard. Nice move by Bautista!

Deleon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bautista wants to stand but Deleon is controlling his posture from full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Deleon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bautista sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
It looks like Bautista might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Let's hope that Bautista has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee warns Deleon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bautista avoids the attempt from Deleon to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bautista controlling from the full mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bautista is working for a guillotine from mount but Deleon frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Deleon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bautista has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bautista has clasped his hands together around Deleon's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bautista wants to control but Deleon is keeping him busy.

Bautista is looking to stand but Deleon has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bautista has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Deleon's face.


It looks like Isaias Deleon has been cut.
Bautista tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bautista is landing with some decent strikes but Deleon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Bautista lands a couple of good shots and Deleon has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
What can Deleon do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Bautista lands a good shot there. Deleon covers up! Bautista smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Deleon to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Bautista jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
