The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beard stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Richards.
Beard shoots in for a takedown but Richards shows good takedown defense.
Richards lands with an overhand left.
Beard tries for a takedown but Richards sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Beard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Richards as he jumps to the side.
Maximus Richards has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of No Beard.
Beard shoots in but Richards avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Beard shoots for a double leg takedown but Richards sprawls well. He's pushed Beard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Beard tries for a takedown but Richards sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Richards cracks Beard with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Richards keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Richards cracks Beard with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Richards has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Beard to stand back up!

Beard is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Richards throws a pinpoint strike between Beard's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Beard crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Richards scores a great knockout victory!
