Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Obat Timur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gulun Shulun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timur's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Goyang Dumang. Obat Timur could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gulun Shulun's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timur lands a nice shot that snaps Shulun's head back.
Shulun just misses with a punch to the body.
Shulun tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Timur was well out of range. Poor timing from Shulun.

Timur closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Timur lands in his opponent's guard.
Timur postures up in Shulun's guard and throws a big left but Shulun blocks it.
Timur might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Timur wants to get back to his feet.

Shulun looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Timur with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Timur is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Shulun is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Timur knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shulun on the ground.

Gulun Shulun dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Timur tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shulun defends well and Timur ends up having to push Shulun into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Timur shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shulun sprawls well. Shulun wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Timur gets slowly back to his feet.

Timur goes for a double leg but Shulun avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shulun continues to drive forward.

Timur gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Timur tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shulun smiles and moves away.
Shulun throws a body punch but Timur moves out of range.

Timur swings around for an armbar but Shulun sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Timur's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Shulun has hold of Timur's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Timur manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gulun Shulun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Timur bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Timur is defended easily by Shulun.

Shulun takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Shulun on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Obat Timur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Timur fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shulun manages to avoid it.
Shulun appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Timur uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shulun.

Shulun has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Timur working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shulun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shulun manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Shulun has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Timur defend it? Shulun steps over the head and cranks it - Timur is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Shulun!
