The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin shoots in looking for a takedown but Demayo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Franklin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Demayo wants to counter the offense by Franklin and move into the clinch position.
Demayo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Demayo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Demayo clobbers Franklin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Franklin shoots in for a double leg but Demayo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Demayo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Franklin eats them both and turns towards Demayo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Demayo slaps away a takedown attempt from Franklin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Franklin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
