Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baeddan MacAuliffe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Blitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacAuliffe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Notorious by Duran Duran. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacAuliffe misses with a series of wild punches.

Blitz is looking for a sweep. MacAuliffe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Blitz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MacAuliffe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blitz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Blitz tries to improve his position but instead MacAuliffe has taken his back!
MacAuliffe keeps control of the position as Blitz tries to break free.

MacAuliffe is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Blitz defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
MacAuliffe is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Blitz. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

MacAuliffe is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Blitz with him. Blitz is trying to defend but MacAuliffe has an arm under the chin now! Blitz grimaces and is forced to tap out!
