Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Royal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Bremner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Royal! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Teddy Bremner! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Royal clinches up with Bremner and pushes him back against the cage. Bremner drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Royal gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bremner is trying to push Royal away but Royal has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Royal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Royal motions for Bremner to come forward. Royal throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bremner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Royal is fending him off so far but Bremner persists. Nope, Royal circles away and we're back to standing. Royal shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bremner wants to stand back up but Royal manages to pass into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bremner is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Royal controlling the position from side mount. Bremner is looking to regain half guard here but Royal keeps moving and retains side control. Royal controlling from side mount. Royal looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. You can see the frustration on Bremner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Royal is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bremner's shoulder. That is not cool. Royal tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Royal tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Royal is trying to get an arm triangle but Bremner is defending well. Royal moves into full mount! Royal tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Royal with a couple of short strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bremner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Royal lands a nice shot to the head. We've been hearing good reports from Royal's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Royal trying to control but Bremner is having none of it. Royal controlling the pace for now. Bremner is looking to get to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Royal takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Royal fails with the takedown. Royal is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bremner can do to turn this around? Royal throws a head kick that misses. Bremner is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Bremner dives in and grabs Royal's left leg, looking for a takedown. Royal pushes down on Bremner's head and hops out. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bremner is defended easily by Royal. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Royal misses with a combination
and Bremner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Royal avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Royal defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bremner. James Royal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teddy Bremner. Royal with a poor takedown and Bremner counters with a nice uppercut. Bremner shoots in but Royal avoids the takedown attempt easily. Royal goes for a double leg but Bremner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bremner continues to drive forward. Royal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bremner's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bremner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Royal wants to pass the guard but Bremner is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bremner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bremner not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bremner is looking to stand up but Royal isn't so interested in that idea. Royal passes easily into side control. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Royal taking a breather here. Royal tries to stand but Bremner is controlling his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Royal is looking to take a break and control but Bremner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bremner tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Royal wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bremner misses with a head kick.
Bremner feints and as Royal raises his hands in defense, Bremner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bremner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Royal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Royal is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bremner slips nicely into half guard. Royal is looking to improve his position.
Bremner wants to stand but Royal has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Royal missing with punches from the bottom.

A close second round but Teddy Bremner will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Royal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Royal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bremner but Bremner pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bremner scores with a nice takedown into half guard. and Royal counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Royal. A frustrated look appears on Bremner's face as he tries to break the clinch. Royal is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bremner is defending well for now. Bremner is trying to break the clinch but Royal has him pressed against the cage. Royal is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bremner is defending well. Bremner jumps guard but Royal turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Bremner fails to pull guard.

Royal is trying to drag Bremner to the mat but Bremner just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Bremner looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bremner is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bremner is trying to trip Royal. He has hold of a leg but Royal is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bremner persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Bremner wants to control from the top but Royal keeps moving. Bremner is looking to stand up but Royal won't let him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Royal pulls Bremner in to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Teddy Bremner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bremner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
