The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lynch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Everidge looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lynch decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Lynch throws a looping overhand right but Everidge ducks down to avoid it.

Lynch darts in and clinches Everidge up against the cage.

Lynch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Everidge lands a big uppercut and Lynch crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lynch looks OK. Everidge waves Lynch back to his feet!

It looks like James Lynch has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Everidge connects with a nice cross there... Lynch is looking wobbly and Everidge recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Lynch to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Everidge jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
