Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saki fails with the takedown.

Saki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reeves sprawls well initially but Saki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Reeves is defending against the submission attempts here by Saki.

Saki is trying to control the action in half guard but Reeves is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Saki shoots for a double leg takedown but Reeves sprawls well. He's pushed Saki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Saki is pressed up against the cage. Reeves has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Saki down to the mat. Saki avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Saki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reeves gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Reeves wants to control from the top but Saki keeps moving.
Reeves postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Saki has his foot on Reeves's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reeves works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Saki has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Reeves. Oh but Saki has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Reeves goes limp - he's gone! Saki jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
