The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Gresam shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Anderson misses with a takedown attempt - Gresam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Gresam counters with a crisp one two that drops Anderson! Gresam thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Anderson to his feet! Anderson is in big trouble!

Gresam closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Anderson enables Gresam to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Anderson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Anderson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Gresam is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Anderson gets control of Gresam's arms and successfully pulls guard. Anderson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Well Anderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
