Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricario Milanis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coberto Rammarelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rammarelle has chosen Fuck you as his entrance music. Ricario Milanis had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Coberto Rammarelle!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Milanis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rammarelle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rammarelle sneaks out the side door and pushes Milanis away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Rammarelle.
Rammarelle tries to break the clinch but Milanis is controlling the position.
Milanis tries to work over Rammarelle's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Milanis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rammarelle just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rammarelle tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Milanis manages to pull guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Milanis lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Milanis stays in close to Rammarelle's body and controls the position.
Milanis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Milanis's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Milanis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Milanis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Milanis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Milanis distracts Rammarelle with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Milanis makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Milanis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Milanis stands and steps away. Rammarelle gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Milanis throws a right hand that Rammarelle ducks under and follows up with a left that Rammarelle also avoids with ease.
Milanis tries to clinch but Rammarelle moves out of range.

Milanis gets a clinch.
Milanis manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Milanis jumps into guard, dragging Rammarelle to the mat.
Milanis wants to sweep but no luck.
Milanis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rammarelle manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Milanis stands up and waves to Rammarelle to follow him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Milanis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rammarelle is looking for the big counter here.
Milanis tries to clinch but Rammarelle is having none of it.

Milanis moves into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Milanis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rammarelle gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Milanis manages to pull guard.
Rammarelle has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Sydney. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Rammarelle wants to stand and escape but instead Milanis has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Rammarelle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Milanis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rammarelle wants to sweep here but Milanis controlling him for the moment.
Rammarelle is looking to stand up but Milanis isn't so interested in that idea.

Milanis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Milanis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Milanis is working to tighten his grip on Rammarelle's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rammarelle has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Milanis is really squeezing tight and eventually Rammarelle passes out! Milanis breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
