The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ploy lands a slapping body shot.

We've been told by Ploy's head coaches at KING OF PAIN that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The Sock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ploy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The Sock wants to clinch up but Ploy keeps it at a distance.
Ploy is looking for a counter combo.
Ploy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice defenses there by The Sock.
Ploy looks to score with a jab to the body but The Sock is just out of range.
Ploy slips a jab and a cross from The Sock.

The Sock looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ploy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The Sock shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ploy sprawls well. Ploy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. The Sock gets slowly back to his feet.
Ploy connects with a crisp jab.

The Sock lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ploy.

The Sock gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ploy works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Ploy lands a left hand.
Ploy swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Ploy throws a head punch that misses.
The Sock is looking for a takedown.
Ploy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Ploy has The Sock pressed against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Ploy fails to land.

The Sock scores a nice knee to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ploy.
The Sock changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ploy fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Luna Ploy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olly The Sock.
The Sock will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Luna Ploy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ploy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A punch lands to the side of The Sock 's head but he takes it in his stride.
