Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caspar Creel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdul Hai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Caspar Creel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Abdul Hai! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Creel tries to clinch up. Hai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hai looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Hai shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Creel as he jumps to the side. Creel throws a series of punches but Hai avoids them all with ease. Creel slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Creel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hai sprawls well initially but Creel persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hai tries to roll over but Creel keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Creel seems to be working for a kimura but Hai defends the submission attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Creel controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hai keeping hold of Creel's head, controlling as best he can. Creel is trying to control. Hai wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hai shoots in looking for a takedown. Creel tries to sprawl out of it but Hai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Creel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hai closes the distance and clinches. Creel lands a takedown into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Creel trying to control the position from guard on top but Hai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Creel is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hai is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Creel postures up in Hai's guard and throws a big left but Hai blocks it. Creel gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Creel throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hai. Hai with the counter takedown but Creel avoids it easily. No luck for Hai with that takedown attempt. Caspar Creel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abdul Hai.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Creel lands a nice hook to Hai's body. Hai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Creel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hai manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Creel trying to control but Hai is working from the bottom. Creel throwing strikes from guard but Hai blocks nicely. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hai can do anything to dispel that myth. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Creel is looking to stand up but Hai won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Creel sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Creel is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hai is surviving well by controlling Creel's body position as best he can. Creel trying to control but Hai is having none of it.

Caspar Creel dominated that second round. That's time! Creel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Creel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Creel is looking for a kimura but Hai is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Creel to get the leverage. Creel is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hai sees it coming and defends easily. Hai is not content to let Creel control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hai is trying to get back to full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Creel wants to take a breather but Hai is having none of it. Creel is trying to work for a kimura but Hai is defending well.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hai is not content to let Creel control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Creel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hai can do to turn this around? Creel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Despite the aggression on Hai's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Creel's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Creel duly obliges. Creel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hai tries to escape but Creel is in control. Creel controls the position. Hai tries to buck Creel off but Creel is having none of it. Creel has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Creel looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hai! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Creel has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Creel moves into range and clinches up with Hai. I was talking to Creel's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Hai blocks the elbow strike.
Creel is looking to break free of the clinch but Hai has double underhooks. Creel tries to circle away but Hai has him pinned against the cage. Creel gets underhooks to prevent Hai's takedown attempt.
Hai is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Creel pressing his opponent against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Creel pulls guard successfully.
Hai is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Creel keeping moving, preventing Hai from controlling successfully. Caspar Creel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Creel wants to stand and escape but Hai is having none of it. Abdul Hai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Caspar Creel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hai wants to pass the guard but Creel is keeping the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Caspar Creel showed his dominance in that final round. Well Creel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
