Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Preston Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rupert McCaffrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Rupert McCaffrey enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCaffrey closes the distance and clinches up with Christian, looking for a takedown. McCaffrey pushes Christian against the cage but Christian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Christian tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCaffrey swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Christian doesn't manage to clinch there - McCaffrey circles away.

McCaffrey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Christian sprawls well initially but McCaffrey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McCaffrey connects with a nice short shot to Christian's temple.
Oh Christian is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Christian is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McCaffrey lands a big elbow - Christian is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for McCaffrey!
