Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ned Hunter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buster Leon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ned Hunter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter misses with a hook.
An attempted straight right counter from Leon misses the target.
Leon avoids the body shot from Hunter.
Leon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Leon loads up on a big right hand but Hunter slips the punch.
Leon connects with a single shot there.
Hunter connects with a right hand. Leon shakes it off.
Hunter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Leon counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Leon controls from within his opponent's guard.

Leon gets to his feet - Hunter follows without any prompting.
Hunter throws a nice looking combination but Leon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Leon seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hunter misses with a double jab.
Hunter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Leon.
Leon tries to counter by clinching up but Hunter breaks away and moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Leon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Hunter clinches.

Hunter breaks the clinch.

Leon scores with a takedown into Hunter's guard.
Leon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Leon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Leon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Leon in particular looking to stall.
Leon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Hunter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hunter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Leon gets a double leg takedown into Hunter's guard.
Leon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hunter wants to stand up but Leon is controlling him.
Leon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Buster Leon will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Hunter scores with a hook.
Leon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.


It looks like Buster Leon has been cut.
Hunter throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Leon counters by moving into the clinch.
Leon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Hunter has Leon pressed against the cage, preventing Leon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Leon drags the fight down to the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leon kicks Hunter off and gets to his feet.
Leon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.


Leon is rocked!
Hunter cracks Leon with a left hook right on the temple and Leon goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Hunter lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Leon is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ned Hunter!
Ned Hunter seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
