Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evan Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scorchio Whitehouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davies might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Nine - Bad Company. Evan Davies has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitehouse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Davies throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As Davies backs off Whitehouse throws a huge counter combo but Davies manages to avoid it all.

Whitehouse fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davies looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Whitehouse shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Davies eats them both and turns towards Whitehouse to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Davies will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Davies throws a series of punches but Whitehouse avoids them all with ease.
A decent looking cross lands there for Whitehouse.

Whitehouse moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Whitehouse stalks Davies and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Davies's face. Davies staggers backwards, shaken.

Whitehouse lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Davies backs up against the cage.

Whitehouse throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davies works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Whitehouse postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Davies is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Whitehouse, into his guard.

Davies stands and steps away. Whitehouse gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

We've been informed that Whitehouse has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Whitehouse scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Davies lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Whitehouse circles away quickly and effectively.

Davies throws a right and a left that both miss.
Whitehouse goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Davies is rocked!
Davies seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Whitehouse shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Davies is backing up but Whitehouse catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Davies covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Whitehouse Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scorchio Whitehouse!
Scorchio Whitehouse spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
In defeat, Evan Davies stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm devastated to get beat. I leave everything in the ring when I fight but congratulations to my opponent for a great fight.'.
