Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Oneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicki Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chad Oneil has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams lands a head shot.

Oneil has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Adams uses from the top position.
Oneil pulls Adams in close to prevent any damage.

Oneil kicks Adams off and gets to his feet.

Oneil moves into range and clinches up with Adams.

Oneil is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Adams can't fight it off and eventually Oneil manages to take the fight to the floor. Adams looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Adams might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Oneil haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Oneil drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oneil jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Adams wants to sweep here but Oneil controlling him for the moment.
Oneil will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Oneil decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Adams, up you get!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Oneil with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adams to score with a decent uppercut.

Oneil closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Adams to the mat! Adams manages to get full guard.
Adams wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Oneil manages to pass to side control.

Oneil maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Adams could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Oneil has cracked it and Adams is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Oneil!
