Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tuan Estrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergej Rostow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estrada throws a head kick that misses.

Rostow ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rostow no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Estrada drops back looking for a leg! Rostow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rostow manages to kick Estrada off! Estrada jumps back into Rostow's guard.

Estrada moves into range and clinches up with Rostow.
Estrada really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rostow tightens his grip and picks Estrada up, before dumping him to the ground. Estrada manages to land in guard.

Estrada has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rostow off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Estrada rushes Rostow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rostow has clasped his hands together around Estrada's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Rostow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Estrada keeps working.
Estrada tries to bench press Rostow off him but Rostow keeps the position.

Rostow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Estrada has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rostow has managed to get both his arms back between Estrada's legs - danger averted.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rostow working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Estrada has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rostow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Estrada postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rostow is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Estrada, into his guard.

Rostow is sitting in close to Estrada's body. Estrada has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rostow is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rostow is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Estrada.
