The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsumoto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

crack gets the takedown into side control.

crack is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Matsumoto has escaped the position, nice work there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

crack would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Matsumoto lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for crack!

crack is trying to escape the mount but Matsumoto keeps good control and instead manages to take crack's back.

Matsumoto is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. crack knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften crack for a finish.

Matsumoto lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can crack hold on?!

Matsumoto is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. crack has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Matsumoto has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! crack taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Matsumoto doesn't care though - he's delighted!
