The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bernardo tries to pull guard but Knight holds him up against the cage and eventually Bernardo drops back down to his feet.

Knight breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice uppercut there from Knight.
Knight throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bernardo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bernardo fails to land the takedown.
Bernardo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knight is fending him off so far but Bernardo persists. Nope, Knight circles away and we're back to standing.
Knight is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Bernardo with a body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bernardo Bernardo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Knight shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bernardo is looking to get back to is feet but Knight passes into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A lull in the action here as Knight stalls from top position.

Bernardo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Knight controlling from side mount.
Knight should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Knight decides to stand back up.
Bernardo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Knight scores with a sloppy right hand. Bernardo should have avoided that one.

Knight closes the distance and pushes Bernardo back into the cage.
Bernardo wants a takedown but no success here.
Bernardo jumps guard but Knight stands there with Bernardo around his waist. Bernardo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Knight with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Knight not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Knight decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bernardo, up you get!
Bernardo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Knight swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bernardo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bernardo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Dyson Knight has been cut.

Knight instigates a clinch.
Bernardo prevents Knight from breaking the clinch.
Bernardo wants a takedown but no success here.
Knight presses Bernardo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Bernardo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Knight lands a nice shot to the body.
Bernardo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Knight pulls his leg out and moves away.

Bernardo tries to keep at a distance but Knight has taken the fight into the clinch.

Knight has hold of one of Bernardo's legs. Bernardo is fighting the takedown attempt but Knight gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Knight is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Knight drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Knight as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bernardo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Knight! Nice submission victory there!
