Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shelton Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Howell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shelton Weber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Howell!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weber darts in and clinches Howell up against the cage.
Howell throws a head punch that misses.
Weber can't break the clinch.
Howell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Weber.

Weber could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Weber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Howell pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Howell is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Weber can't fight it off and eventually Howell manages to take the fight to the floor. Weber looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Howell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Weber works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Howell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weber swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Howell distracts Weber with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Howell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Weber wants to sweep but no luck.
Howell postures up and lands a big shot to Weber's brow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Howell scores with a big shot! Weber's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Weber! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
