Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cenk John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seth Hunter struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Cenk John!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Seth Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John looks to score with a jab to the body but Hunter is just out of range.
Hunter shapes to counter with a head kick.
Hunter stuffs the takedown attempt from John. John gets slowly back to his feet.
Hunter throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
John shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hunter defends it nicely.
Hunter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from John.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hunter crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from John - the referee stops the clock and Hunter gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says John. Hunter manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hunter tries to clinch there but John circles away.
John misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cenk John. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hunter throws an elbow that misses.
Hunter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A nice glancing elbow lands by John.
Hunter lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Cenk John has been cut.
John is trying to push Hunter away but Hunter has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

John tries to stall but Hunter uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hunter landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hunter comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Hunter avoiding damage as John throws knees to the body.
John is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hunter pulls him back up using the underhooks.
John changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hunter fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A bone on bone clash there as Hunter blocks the leg kick.
John throws a nice head kick!
John shoots in and drives through. Hunter sprawls well.
John is breathing heavily.
John misses with a combination
and Hunter counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops John! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Hunter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seth Hunter!
