The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis misses with a wild combination.
Nice sprawl there from Lewis as Weathers shoots in.
Lewis scores with a body shot.
Lewis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Weathers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lewis as he avoids it easily.
Lewis stuffs the takedown attempt from Weathers. Weathers gets slowly back to his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lewis! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Weathers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Weathers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lewis is looking for the big counter here.
Lewis slaps away a takedown attempt from Weathers, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lewis lands a left and a right that send Weathers crashing to the mat, dazed. Lewis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
