Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evan Payton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandayu Momochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Momochi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Payton has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight.

Payton kicks Momochi off and gets back to his feet.

Payton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looked like Payton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Momochi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Payton did well to prevent Momochi getting side control.

Momochi is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Payton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Momochi pulls his head out easily.

Momochi has control of Payton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Payton regains control of the situation pretty easily.
