The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maximus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Frazier throws a nice outside leg kick.
Frazier throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like DJ Maximus has been cut.
Maximus jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Joe Frazier has been cut.
Frazier scores with a hook to the body. Maximus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A punch lands to the side of Maximus 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Maximus misses with a combination
and Frazier counters with a crisp right hand that drops Maximus! Frazier lets Maximus back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Maximus is rocked!
We've been informed that Maximus has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maximus get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Maximus stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Frazier runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Frazier!
Post fight, Joe Frazier stared into the camera and said 'I am losing skills sooo fast man.'.
