The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mcdugg looks for a takedown but Styles sprawls well.
Styles throws a nice looking combination but Mcdugg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mcdugg is looking to clinch but Styles is avoiding it.

Mcdugg tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Styles swivels and escapes.

Mcdugg throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Styles tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mcdugg is in Styles's guard.

Mcdugg wants to work for an arm triangle but Styles is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
