Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eoin Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trey Oshiro!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greene shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Greene was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sloppy strikes there by Greene.
Oshiro struggling a bit here.
Greene in side control, throwing shots but Oshiro defends.
Oshiro felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Greene in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Greene has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Oshiro tries to bench press Greene off him but Greene keeps the position.
Oshiro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greene. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Oshiro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Greene throwing shots but missing, from side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oshiro managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Greene.
Oshiro struggling a bit here.
Greene really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Greene thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Greene lands a few punches from side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Greene creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Oshiro sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Greene working the ground and pound from side control.
Oshiro is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Oshiro wants to control but Greene postures up.
Greene definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Greene tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Oshiro is looking to get back to his feet here but Greene is keeping cool and he's managed to take Oshiro's back.
Greene has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Oshiro.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Greene working for the choke.
Greene looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Greene punishes Oshiro with strikes from the back mount.
Greene gets his hands free as Oshiro looks to control.
Greene throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
You can see the frustration on Oshiro's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Oshiro is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greene misses with punches from the back.
Oshiro is trying to stand back up.
Greene cracks Oshiro with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Oshiro from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Greene lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Greene keeps control of the position as Oshiro tries to break free.
Oshiro grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Greene is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Oshiro is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eoin Greene!
