The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stanley.
Carvalho blocks a head kick by Stanley.
Stanley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stanley moves into the clinch successfully.
Stanley gets through Carvalho's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Stanley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carvalho shoots for a takedown but Stanley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Carvalho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stanley tries to avoid it but Carvalho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stanley to the ground. Stanley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Carvalho shoots in looking for a takedown. Stanley tries to sprawl out of it but Carvalho keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stanley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
