The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Truck.
Truck takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Truck throws a right hand that Mayer ducks under and follows up with a left that Mayer also avoids with ease.
Truck throws a series of punches but Mayer avoids them all with ease.
Truck rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mayer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Truck circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mayer seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Truck tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mayer was well out of range. Poor timing from Truck.

Mayer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Truck can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Truck not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Mayer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
