Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between fritz louis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

louis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
louis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

louis stands up from guard. Let's bang!
louis blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Johnson lands an overhand right.
Johnson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Johnson looks to land a body kick but louis moved away.
louis shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt

and louis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Johnson!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson wants to control but louis is having none of it.
You get the feeling that Johnson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Johnson is bucking up trying to escape but louis cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

louis is working for a guillotine from mount but Johnson frees his head quite easily.
louis lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Johnson hang on?
Johnson wants to try and get back to his feet.
Johnson looks gassed!
louis sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

BOOM! louis connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
louis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Johnson is on top in guard.

louis has a closed guard, preventing Johnson from standing up.

louis could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
louis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.
Johnson is looking to stand up but louis isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Johnson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Johnson pushes louis off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Johnson throws a head kick but louis moves out of range.

louis doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.

Johnson moves into range and clinches up with louis.
louis stalls.

Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Johnson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

louis moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has louis pinned against the cage. louis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

louis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. louis showed some decent athleticism there.
Johnson wants to get back to full guard but louis has mounted him!
louis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Johnson tries to lock up and control but louis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Johnson has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
louis is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
louis has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Johnson.
louis trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Johnson doesn't escape.

louis is punishing Johnson with strikes - can he finish him?!

louis has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Johnson.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
louis lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Johnson hold on?!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Johnson throws a lazy head kick

and louis counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by louis.

louis stands and steps away. Johnson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Johnson tries to clinch but louis is having none of it.
Johnson misses with a kick to the body.
Johnson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as louis backs up against the cage.

louis feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, louis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

louis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Good exchange - Johnson coming out on top.

Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Johnson wants to clinch.

louis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johnson's guard.
louis prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet.
louis content to stall in guard here.
Johnson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
louis trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

louis gets to his feet. Johnson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Johnson tries to clinch but louis moves out of range.
Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
louis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Johnson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

louis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
louis forces his way into half guard.
louis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
louis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

louis wants to pass the guard but Johnson is defending well.
louis is keen to just control but Johnson is a slippery customer.
louis trying to control the pace.
Johnson is looking to escape.
Johnson is looking to get back to is feet but louis passes into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Johnson wants to get back to his feet but louis is dominant here and he's now got Johnson's back!

louis working for a choke but Johnson is defending well.
louis wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy.
Johnson turns into louis and is now in his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
louis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Quinton Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

louis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for louis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
