Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eusebio Medina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessio Preziosi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alessio Preziosi looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medina fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Preziosi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Medina forces Preziosi back against the cage and clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Preziosi fails to land.

Preziosi pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Medina throws a big right hand that misses.
Medina has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Medina stops Preziosi from standing up.
Medina distracts Preziosi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Medina accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Medina wanted to stand there but Preziosi had control of the position.

Medina drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Medina jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Medina has Preziosi pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Medina pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Preziosi tumbling to the mat - Medina dives into Preziosi's guard.
Medina could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Medina decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Medina gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Medina has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Preziosi is trying to keep an underhook but Medina manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Medina is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Medina is taking a breather. Preziosi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Medina's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Medina lands a nice short elbow.

Medina is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Preziosi sees it coming and defends easily.

Medina is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Preziosi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Medina.
Medina slips a nice elbow through Preziosi's hands, connecting with Preziosi's forehead.

Medina looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
