Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Kimble Cho!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cho slips a jab and a cross from Al Qarni.
Al Qarni misses the jab.
Cho fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Al Qarni is out of range.
Cho pushes Al Qarni away with a front kick.
Al Qarni thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cho lands with a hook. Al Qarni tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Al Qarni stuns Cho with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cho ducks under a wild hook from Al Qarni.
Al Qarni lands a really nice looking cross but Cho seems unphased.

Al Qarni moves into the clinch successfully.
Cho stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Al Qarni swings wildly with an uppercut but Cho uses good head movement to avoid it.

Al Qarni misses with a punch on the inside.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cho is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Al Qarni avoids a kick to the body.

Cho throws a head kick that half lands.
Al Qarni misses with a looping left.

and Cho counters with a head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cho throws the kick towards the body but Al Qarni avoids it.

Cho lands a big head kick that sends Al Qarni tumbling to the mat! Cho takes a step backwards and waves Al Qarni back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Al Qarni just misses with a punch to the body.
Oh Al Qarni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cho throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Al Qarni moves out of range as Cho throws a body kick.
Al Qarni seems to have got his legs back now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Al Qarni slips a jab from Cho.
Al Qarni connects with a right hand. Cho shakes it off.

Al Qarni closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Al Qarni swings around for an armbar but Cho sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Al Qarni's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Al Qarni is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cho pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cho tries to stand and escape but Al Qarni is controlling the position.
Al Qarni wants to control but Cho is keeping busy.

Cho tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Cho can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Al Qarni is looking to escape.
Al Qarni tries to hold on but Cho postures up.
Al Qarni gets back to half guard.
Al Qarni slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Al Qarni is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cho is aware though and is defending well.
Al Qarni wants to hit a switch here but Cho passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Al Qarni there!
Al Qarni gets back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimble Cho dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nice uppercut there from Cho.
Cho lands a really nice looking cross but Al Qarni seems unphased.
Al Qarni throws a right and a left that Cho avoids nicely.
Fahad Al Qarni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cho throws a head kick but Al Qarni moves out of range.
Cho walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cho throws a jab when Al Qarni was well out of range.
Al Qarni throws the left hand but Cho avoids the punch easily.
Al Qarni misses with a hook.
Cho throws out a counter right but Al Qarni avoids it with no problem.
Al Qarni avoids the head kick by Cho.
Cho tests Al Qarni's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Al Qarni lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cho looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Cho is still on wobbly legs! Can Al Qarni finish him?
Al Qarni's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cho under the eye.
Al Qarni lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Cho falls backwards - clearly groggy! Al Qarni dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fahad Al Qarni!
An out of breath Fahad Al Qarni thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
