The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvaro bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps TheMan's head backwards.

It looks like Stan TheMan has been cut.
TheMan throws a solid leg kick but Alvaro takes the impact on his shin and smiles at TheMan.
Alvaro wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
TheMan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Alvaro lands with a right hand.
Alvaro misses with a double jab.
TheMan throws a lazy uppercut
and Alvaro counters with a body kick that stops TheMan in his tracks momentarily.
TheMan looks to land a left hand but Alvaro moved out of range nicely.
It looked like Alvaro was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from TheMan.
Alvaro misses with an uppercut. TheMan saw that one coming.

TheMan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stan TheMan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
TheMan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Alvaro has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
TheMan thuds his right hand into Alvaro's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

TheMan's coach down at ~T~ Troid - Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on TheMan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

TheMan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alvaro was well out of range. Poor timing from TheMan.
