The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gladius is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Davidson's half guard.

Gladius is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davidson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gladius.
Davidson pushes Gladius off looking to stand but Gladius dives back in and keeps control.

Gladius is trying to work for a kimura but Davidson is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davidson tries to kick Gladius off in order to stand up. Gladius Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Davidson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gladius tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gladius has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Davidson bucks up and tries to throw Gladius off but instead Gladius has got his back!
Davidson wants to get back to his feet.
Gladius keeps control of the position as Davidson tries to break free.

Gladius working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Davidson is doing well to defend. Gladius seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Davidson is forced to tap and this one is over!
