PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Patrick Rocha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Super Loco!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha fails in his attempt to clinch.
Loco looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Rocha gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Loco regains guard.

Rocha drops back looking for a leg! Loco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Loco manages to kick Rocha off! Rocha jumps back into Loco's guard.
Rocha really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rocha wants to control from the top but Loco keeps moving.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Loco has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rocha is trying to keep an underhook but Loco manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Loco's coach down at Club Pain (Sparring & 6 Ellite) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Loco's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That's time! Rocha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rocha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rocha's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Loco looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Loco keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Loco wants to counter with a clinch but Rocha pushes him away.

Super Loco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Loco winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
