Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dawid Jelinek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jurek Owsiak! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owsiak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jelinek throws a right and a left that Owsiak avoids nicely. Owsiak fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jelinek, pushing him back against the ropes. Owsiak manages to break the clinch.
Jelinek avoids the head kick by Owsiak.
Owsiak gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Jurek Owsiak has been cut. Jelinek has taken the fight to the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Jelinek just misses with a elbow thrown towards Owsiak's brow. Owsiak breaks the clinch.
Owsiak forces Jelinek back against the ropes and clinches. Jelinek dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes. Owsiak has Jelinek pressed against the ropes, preventing Jelinek from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Owsiak fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Owsiak scores a nice knee to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Owsiak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Owsiak rushes Jelinek and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Owsiak keeps control of Jelinek as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Owsiak's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jelinek throws a left and a right that both miss
and Owsiak counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Owsiak. Jelinek can't break the clinch.
Owsiak is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Jelinek is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Owsiak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Owsiak tries to close the distance and clinch but Jelinek swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Owsiak looks to score with a jab to the body but Jelinek is just out of range. Jelinek works over Owsiak's head and body with a nice combination. Owsiak gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Owsiak content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Owsiak manages to break the clinch.
Owsiak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Owsiak gets tackled into the ropes by Jelinek. Jelinek maintains the clinch. Owsiak breaks the clinch.
Jelinek misses with a low kick as Owsiak jumps back. Jelinek throws a series of punches but Owsiak avoids them all with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jurek Owsiak will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jurek Owsiak's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jelinek rushes Owsiak and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Owsiak is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Both guys are working to get underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Jelinek's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jelinek wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jelinek lands a shot to the body. Owsiak swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Owsiak closes the distance and clinches. Jelinek scores with a shoulder strike. Owsiak has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jelinek wants to get back to striking at distance but Owsiak won't allow it.

Owsiak tries to score with a low kick but Jelinek moves his leg out of the way. Jurek Owsiak seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jelinek has Owsiak up against the ropes in a clinch.
Jelinek wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Owsiak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jelinek clinches. Jelinek lands with a short shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dawid Jelinek dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jurek Owsiak's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Owsiak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dawid Jelinek is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jelinek tries a low kick but Owsiak avoids it. Owsiak moves into range and clinches up with Jelinek. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Jelinek avoiding damage as Owsiak throws knees to the body.

Jelinek wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Owsiak has him pressed against the ropes. Jelinek breaks from the clinch.
Jelinek tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Owsiak throws a head kick that Jelinek semi-blocks.
Jelinek staggers Owsiak with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Owsiak looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Jelinek is victorious!
