Alejandro staggers Ruiz with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Ruiz looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

It looks like Juno Ruiz has been cut.
Alejandro throws a right and a left that Ruiz avoids nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ruiz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Alejandro plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Ruiz swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Ruiz face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
