Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Denny Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kwik Li Gon!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher shoots in looking for a takedown. Gon tries to sprawl out of it but Fisher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fisher manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gon forces his way into half guard.
Gon tries to pass to full mount but Fisher defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gon seems to be working for a kimura but Fisher defends the submission attempt.
Gon uses his free foot to push down on Fisher's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fisher.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gon controlling his opponent.

Gon has hold of Fisher's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fisher manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gon goes for an armbar but Fisher turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fisher.
Fisher is looking to stand up but Gon won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fisher manages to get himself to full guard.

Gon pushes down on Fisher's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Gon moves into full mount! Fisher won't be happy about that!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like Gon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fisher is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Gon locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Fisher is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kwik Li Gon!
A very excited looking Kwik Li Gon made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
